Fare

Types of buses

There are 5 types of buses in Gyeonggi Province, based on Fare.

  1. Gyeonggi Circular Bus (Gyeonggi Sunhwan Bus) [ ]
  2. Metropolitan Express Bus (a.k.a. M-Bus) or Seat-type Nonstop Bus
       (Gwangyeok Guphaeng Bus / Jikhaeng Jwaseok Bus) [ or ]
  3. Seat-type Bus (Jwaseok Bus) [ ]
  4. Basic City Bus / Urban Bus (Sinae Bus) [ or ]
  5. Local Bus / Town Bus / Village Bus / Community Bus (Maeul Bus) [ ]
Bus Fare

Bus fare are vary, via your route, distance and modes.

    • Single trip
      If your journey does not include any transfer/change to other modes, most of the Gyeonggi Bus line charges you only a basic fare. However, some lines charges you more via your distance. If you go further than maximum distance of basic fare , you may charge 100 KRW for every 5km trip.
      50~100 KRW added for using cash.
      (Using transportation card is suggested for your transfer and discount.)

      ※ Trip with children under age 5 Less then 3 children who are accompanied with adults can take bus without any charge. If more than 4 children needs a journey, they must pay as a children fare, with a discount for 3 children.

    • Trip with transfer/change
      If you take multiple modes with transportation card and transfer within 30 minutes(60 minutes at night, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.), you can get exempted or discount for basic fare.
